i took the calves off my nurse cow this a.m. and took them to the sale thinking icould get some replacements while i was there.there was nothing worth buying and none of my calf connections are working out how long do i have to get some more babies on her before she stops producing? they did nurse before i left.

Depends on the cow and how long she has been fresh. A couple of days won't usually hurt. If it's going to be longer, she may come back into milk once she starts nursing again, but not up to what she did before she started drying off. If it going to be more then a day or two, milk her out good morning and evening and you can keep her going for a couple of weeks, maybe more.
