Our holstein is around two years old. She had a calf in April that was dead when born (it was way too big for her). Now she has mucus(?) running out behind her. Is it just that she is in estrus or did our bull finally get her? How do we tell?

If she's anywhere near the bull, you'll know when she's in estrus by the bull's behavior.

Mucus discharge is a common sign of heat. If she is/was in heat and she's with a bull, either he bred her or he should or should have.
