The BB are known for C-sections in the enhanced muscled breeds. However the Piedmontese do not manifest the enhanced muscling until the calf is about a month to six weeks old so fewer calving problems. The muscle was not "bred into" the Piedmontese the 2 copy Myostatin gene is naturally occurring in Pieds. With more and more emphasis on healthy eating the Piedmontese is a good choice to provide lean, tender, juicy and flavorful beef.
Not advertising, just trying to point out the differences between the BBs and the Pieds as often times folks make the assumption that they are the same. They are not.Aero":2euar3oq said:CKC1586":2euar3oq said:More muscle equals more beef, more beef equals more dollars, right?

I love a minimally informative advertisement.
