Man, I have to pay closer attention. Either MLB gets right after it or I've been too busy to pay attention. I just read that the Mariners eliminated the Jays. Congrats Seattle.

Yup. I think Seattle is the one with the problem.
I was reading an article Monday that was comparing Seattle and Houston's teams by positions and chances in this series. At one point the writer said "Houston has Yordan Alvarez . . . and Seattle doesn't."

I'm not, but I think a certain amount of cautious optimism is warranted. I read this morning that in best of five series the team that won the first game has won the series over 70% of the time.

Alvarez is a monster!!! Houston is probably the best team in baseball. But it's not over yet.

Houston may yet have a problem but the Mariners do not. The Mariners will be able to sit home in the comfort of their own living rooms and watch the rest of the playoffs without having to worry about noisy fans, uncomfortable hotel beds, or rushed schedules because.........

That was 3 good games, 18 innings yesterday. Houston has a ridiculous lineup.

Yup. There have been two 18 inning MLB playoff games, and Houston was in both.

Phillie won't be a cakewalk. They have a great bullpen and they swing some good bats. 7 games is always a LOT harder than 5.
