Anyone know of any really hot hot sauce? I purchased a bottle of Woodpecker and Butt Burner hot sauces the other day and I can't say I've ever had anything so hot. Sure did learn not to use it like tabasco but am definitely going to save it for cold and flue season.

My hubby is a hot sauce nut.
He likes Tabasco eats it like it is sugar. Bleah. :p

Spontaneous Combustion. Colon Blow. Gold Cap Hot sauce.

The only one that he cannot get used to is Mad Dog Hot Sauce. He never complains about my cooking not being hot; I put some on his burrito. :lol2: :cry2: he was doing that.

Looking at getting him a bottle of Ghost Pepper hot sauce.

Go check out:

That's quite an assortment. I'm sure he would love the woodpecker sauce. It'll bring tears to your eyes.

Hottest Hot Sauce I've ever tried is called 'Bayou Viagra'. Proceed with caution...

I found a bottle at a specialty cooking shop in Colorado that you had to sign a waiver when you purchased it. I wanted to buy it but it was too rich for me.

my wife came home the other day with a bottle of habenero hot sauce.

Having learned my lesson the hard way about habeneros I have cautiously tried it and I think it is going to prove to be pretty rank. Have not yet used a good dose of it.

Sounds like you'll need more than a "cast iron" stomach to handle a good dose of that. :help:

Hubby loves the habenero tabasco hot sauce. Son loves the chitpole (sp?) hot sauce.

Only time I like tabasco is in my shrimp etufe. Sorry i'm drinking and typimg and it aint working. :D ;-) :lol2:

That's easy to solve....just quit typing and enjoy the drink. :drink: :lol2: :lol2:

The hottest sauce I have tried was called "------ insane hot sauce". the ------ was some guys name but I can't remember it right now. The best hot bbq imo is Famous Daves Devil Spit BBQ sauce. Bood blend of both spice and flavor. Another good hot BBQ sauce is Gates Extra Spicy BBQ sauce.

I have found the best thing to do when you have taken in something too hot to handle is to drink Sprite. Way better than milk.

Daves Insanity ??? Very good stuff. Try "Da Bomb" it's hotter. IMHO

I probably have 10 different small bottles at a time of hot sauce in the fridge, usually 3 or 4 types of "Melindas".
They produce some really nice "red savina" right up to borderline insane East Indian type sauces.

Something tells me the by-product of this stuff would eat thru a Sears Roebuck catalog. :help:

Hubby still swears the Mad Dog is the hottest.

he's not too happy with the Tabasco company right now. He has had 2 large bottles of Tabasco not taste right.

He freaked out a friends mother in law by eating theses chick peas peppers from Mexico. That poor woman thought he was going to die. :lol2:

back in the day I use to do the so hot you can't eat it challenges.

I had times where I had tears streaming down my face but I would smile and swallow em and try mightily to never miss a beat.

I still like spicy food but I can't do that stuff any more.

I ate a hot pepper in a chinese restaurant one time and the young little chinese waitress nearly had kittens. she was running around fanning her mouth and saying no eat that.....hot....hot....no eat that.

over the weekend i put some hot sauce on something. I thought it was the regular Franks hot sauce and I used my normal amount. turns out the wife had set the habenero hot sauce on the table. It was plenty spicy. guess I better learn to read the label.

When people who say they can handle "heat" want a taste I just dip a tooth pick in it so there is less than a drop on the pick. That usually learns them!
There still aren't any restaurants that make suicide wings as hot as I like them, but like pdf , my hot challenge days are pretty much over.
