Hot Hot weather here in Australia

Today has the firemen and women very worried here in most of our eastern states here in Australia. Temperatures are very extreme. Top temperatures for our state capital Sydney is expected to be 43 C (thats hot) There is about 40 bushfires on the go in our state. Victoria at this time of the year can be the most volatile as it gets dry quickly as it has predominately winter rainfall. Its three year since our nations capital Canberra had bushfires which destroyed 500 homes and killed 4 persons.
A fair percentage of the fires are lit by arsonists. We actually have a couple in our little town at the moment. They lit 5 fires in the town a couple of nights ago thankfully we have a good firebrigade in the town and saved much damage. The town knows who they are, just waiting for the police to get the message and have proof.

Must be there like it has become here. The ones that need hanging are protected by law.

As soon as we get Crowder elected over here, there will be some changes made.

Not heard of any fires today. But we have had several that i have posted about. Got around 70 F today. Thats dang hot for winter in Texas.

Been darn hot in our state today top of 47C Sydney had its hottest day 44C since 1939. 6 homes burnt today in our state and about the same in Victoria and many more under threat. Few cars gone as well. Only one fireman injured thankfully. Southerly buster (strong wind change from the south) has came through the bottom of the state has dropped temperatures by up to 20 degrees celcius. Caused damage,trees down but little rain.
Still about 27C at our place at the northern end of the state.
