Hot Day here today

Hot here today a bit of thunder about,supposed to have thunderstorms for the next three days. Be good if it happened,time is running out for growing time for our area. Another month or so and it will quite autumny. Some trees are already starting to get a bit of a brown tinge.

wish it was warmin up here. it was fairly nice yesterday, but it snowed sometime last night. oh well, what more could you expect in feb.? glad someone has some warm weather though. enjoy it for me would ya? i guess i don't mind the snow cuz it means a good run off this spring and good watering this summer.

No rain out of yesterdays storm. Some fairly handy rain about in our state due to a storm front that came through. Would be about 15 C this am ,probably get to about 27/28. Have cattle work to do today,getting a few Brahman and South Devon cross steers ready for the cattle sale tomorrow.Hope to get at least $580 a head for them,they are about 7 months old.

Welcome Colin, glad to see you here. As a former resident of a 10,000 acre sheep station in W.A. I am glad to be able to share some bonhomie with another Aus. besides No.1.

Notice I typed 'resident', and not operator...I never did like these stinky buggers. No. 1 is a native Aus. and grew up there on the home place, and we decided to live there a while, I got to see most of Australia and NZ, and fell in love with the south eastern part, as well as Taz.
But it was my turn to bring us back to my home place.... so here we are...for a while anyhow.

Wish we were wealthy enuff to do summer in each place.......
