Someone told me of a toy ball that someone made for colts to frolic with in the pasture. Possibly this ball has an eyelet made into the ball itself. Wondering if anyone has heard of such and if so where I might get one? I want to try to make a sturdy float for my automatic waterer which my cows use. TIA

Are you talking about the "jolly ball"? It's an equine toy that's available in different sizes...you could check with catalogs (Valley Vet, American Livestock, etc.) to see what's available. We have one for our donkeys; they ignore it, but a couple of the cows toss it around some.
