We've all seen and heard about a Rating Scale for Horses. The scale from 1 (extremely calm) to 10 (extremely hot).

Now, does anyone have any information or ideas on the "behavioral descriptors" for a ratings of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9? I shall assume a rating of "5" is somewhat in the middle average between half asleep and totally wild...lol.

Comments and info will be appreciated!

Thanks!

1. Ya gotta set firecrackers off under it's belly to get it to open it's eyes
2. Will ride, but you gotta keep up on the riding crop and spurs to keep it awake
3. Will walk & trot at will, might turn, but needs a motivator to go any faster
4. Average Kid broke horse, been there, done that, might be a little barn sour at times
5. "Needs Intermediate Rider", will do anything, sometimes faster than you're ready for, but not a dead head
6. Most Ranch Horses under the age of 15
7. Good rider, gets a little jacked up when you ask for speed, always looking for the boogey man, but manageable most of the time
8. Hard to catch, won't stand for mounting, jigs the whole ride, spooks at squirrels, hollers for buddies all day
9. Fence jumping freak that needs to be sedated just to fly spray
10. Might as well shoot it and eat it, you're never going to get near it anyways. Most noticeable trait is the red eyes and the smoke coming out of the nostrils, and someone else's blood on that left rear hoof
 (Seriously though, I've never seen an exact definition for any of these, just a guess!)
