Just came in from gathering eggs and one of my Ameraucana pullets left me her first egg. Just never had one this small before out of any of my large fowl flock.. :lol:

:lol: Don't you love some of those 1st eggs from the girls. They usually don't even have a yolk when they're that small.

My favorite was one with 3 yolks out of a wh. leghorn

Haven't had any of those yet and not sure I want one. One of the Barred Rocks left us a double yolker once, but haven't had any since. Three would scare me.

Had a few of the "no shell" ..... handle with care, it's just a soft membrane holding the white and yolk in.

The egg on the left was the 3 yolker, the middle is an average Large egg, the right was kinda small

Guess I remembered wrong about it being from a leghorn since it's brown

I have an old hen who lays eggs without the shell. Here is the last one. I sort of broke it when I picked it up.

The little pullet eggs are cute. Did you break it open?

Broke it this morning and no yolk (or it that the yolk that didn't turn?). That egg with no shell it pretty weird. Glad you showed me cause there's no telling how my wife would of reacted to something like that.

You could make a ton o' money with a big flock layin no-yolk eggs. Meringue city.
