I seeded alfafa, BFT, RC, ladino, grass mixes 4 years ago on a new place. Now what I am seeing is:
Alfalfa took a licking except on a south facing slope. Must be drained enough there.
My best BFT is in the (added 3 years ago) cross fences. Must be protected enough there.
RC is thin. Considering doing some interseeding.
Ladino is spreading except on the south facing slope. Seems to like damp hoof tillage.
Have you seen that BFT does not tolerate hoof action well?
Have you tried Kura vs. Ladino clover?
How ripe does clover seed need to be to be spread in the cow manure?
