Did anyone ever make a homemade headgate if so where could I get a set of blueprints thanks Dean

Search for some design items by Temple Grandlin, Colorado State Univ. Also, visualize what the headgate is trying to do. Then, design it. Rather simple device. Look at some commercial steel gates and take photos of them. Operate them to see the action used.
