I would love to hear about everybody's homemade remedies for replacing fluid in scouring calves. Also what do you give a calf to give him a little boost, when they are not feeling well. I know there is a lot of stuff that you can buy, but alot of times the stuff you can make at home works as good if not better. Thanks everyone!!

Well here are 3 I couldn't think of the other:
The electrolyte mix
1/2 teaspoon table salt
1/4 teaspoon Lite Salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
warm water

Homemade Electrolyte Solution
2 teaspoons table salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
8 tablespoons honey, white corn syrup, or crystalline (never sugar cane)
1 gallon warm water

Home Remedy
1 cup buttermilk
1 raw egg
1 teaspoon cocoa
1/4 teaspoon baking soda

There is another with gatorade but I can't remember it.
