I've been reading about Holm Oaks and how the acorns are used as fodder in spain.
I was thinking about planting a few, but i haven't been able to find anywhere on the internet whether the acorns have to be crushed before the cattle can eat them.
If they do have to be crushed i couldn't be bothered, but if they don't, i think they'll make a great supplement.
Does anyone have any experience of these trees?
thanks in advance
