i watched on rfd the other night....

I recall when they were the top of the breed. Linebacker and Franchester were real bulls.

Wye cattle still have a lot to offer for raising quality maternal cattle...

I don't think you can look at any of the cowherds that are known now for their maternal cattle and not see a heavy past and/or current influences of Wye...

One of the young bulls I kept this year to see if he'll work into a good sire is a double bred Bannon of Wye : Lazy Bar B Bannon 2 BY AAA #17049646
He definitely has the maternal genetics- and only time will tell how he passes it along...
