Himalayan cattle

I saw a T.V. program last week about a journey in the border of Tibet and the India, they use cattle as draft animals they are long haired. I have been searching for information of these animals but I haven't find any, does any of you know what kind af cattle they are?

Want to know as general culture.

I thought Yaks where only white, but I just saw a pic and they have different dark colorings too, so in resume for sure they are Yaks. The estimated population in China is over 12 million Yaks.

they were probabmy yaks, which are indigenous to the himalayas. they come in colours from white, to grey to black, and some spotted.
