We are looking to use this route to Ft. Walton on vacation. Wind on down and catch 87 in Elba and on to 2 in FL and on to 285. Is it a decent ride?

Should be OK if you're not in a hurry. I sure wouldn't want to go that way at night.

Its a pretty good trip. LIke Mike said, don't be in a hurry and probably not travel it at night. There are a lot of pretty homes to show the Misses, in Elba, if she likes that kinda thing. Use to haul cull sows to chiply FL that way from Auburn.
