This is a friend's Highland cow...

And a head shot (this cow makes me remember why I don't breed hornies- she sure knows how to use 'em!!)....

This is her last calf (Highland Jersey x), steer is babysitting a newborn Dexter calf....

Killala, love that first picture, striking....are you sure that's a Dexter calf? Sure is fuzzy, but cute...maybe a little bit of Highland in there?

I'm 100% positive that's a dexter calf, the owner had the cow AI'd and theres been no bull near her. Couldn't believe it myself when I saw it! and the colour too, pretty.
Yes I love that first pic, sun came thru at just the right moment!

Hey, thanks Killala, for posting the other photos too...that was really nice of you...yup, sure look like Dexters. But that dun calf in the previous photo still looks too like it's wearing leggings, LOL!
