Bought a bull that has a high tail head set. It may not be terrible but it's definitely not ideal. I'm having a little buyer remorse, but I purchased the bull to run primarily with heifers, so I probably wouldn't keep replacements from him anyway. I'll post pictures of it whenever I get possession of the bull. However, in case he does pass this off onto his calves, how critical of a flaw is a high tail head in your mind when judging replacements?

For reference: This is the sire of the bull that I bought. My bull has about the same tail head set (so apparently the trait is pretty heritable)..

Bonsma shows skeletal diagrams and the high tailhead and flat rump combo creates a bit of an obstacle to a clear birth canal. It is not for me.
