Baler worked OK in the field
brought it home and cleaned it off with a leaf blower
now it won't go into drive - - get a clutch slip message
clutch gap is in spec, could a sensor be out ???

I had a couple of sensor issues with my Hesston

I'm sure it has to have an input and output shaft sensor, if the two don't read the same speed then the code is set, as it thinks the clutch is slipping.

Had the wife man the PTO lever while I watched the gear train. When the PTO is engaged - - the chains tighten up and moved a fraction of an inch, and then relaxed. Did this a couple times, and then we got a "Clutch Solenoid" message, rather than a "Clutch Slip" message only.
