I'm looking into buying a Hesston 1160 mower conditiner. 14ft,rubber/steel roll, center pivot, average condition asking $3900. Does anyone have any experience with these mowers? Any opinions or advive is appreciated.

First of all $3900 is wayyyyyyyyyy too much for a moco built in the Mid 90's --- offer 2500, unless it is a sickle bar moco-- then run from it.
I personally don't like the center pivot and definately do not like the sickle bar models. You need a disc type moco like a 3309
Funny you would recomend that, since I posted that I passed on the hesston and bought a caseIH 3309 discbine. I love it, will never go back to a sickle style mower. This thing flat out eats hay. Thanks for the advice
