Not tried on hereford - but did on Angus. The color on Rom will be resessive- so you will probably get a herford color, with horns - or at least scurs as thje Rom will put a horn on almost anything. They will add muscle, a good terminal cross. I said Terminal - you will not like the heifers -Take for ever to mature sexually, mine had a terrible attitude, and the calves all ran about 20 Plus pounds heavier than straight angus. Have seen post by Romagnola breeders that dispute this, but I used 2 different bulls and same results on both, they are all gone now- never want another fence jumping wild thing around here again. If you use them- sell quickly - they will make you money as a Terminal cross.
