7 Poll Hereford sold to $13,000 avearged. $4,500
5 Hereford heifers sold to $3,500 averaged. $2,800
Herefords seem to be on a rebound here in Australia. I think this might be because both Horned and Polled have got together at last.

Top price for a Hereford at the Hereford National Sale. $42,000 for a bull offered by the Sugarloaf Creek stud from Corryong in the Upper Murray Valley in Victoria. The purchasers were the Wallan Creek stud from Queensland. These people exhibited the magnificent Interbreed Hereford bull at Beef 2009 in Rockhampton. Wallan Creek Dimbulah. Top priced polled bull made $24,000.
