Hereford research station

My husband visited a Hereford research station west of Pawhuska, Ok in the 70's. He landed on their runway, they gave him quite a tour! The site is now owned by the Drummond family (the ranch house was converted to Ree's film studio). He's looking for a little information on that organization.
