Hereford cow longevity

Cow longevity is a favorable Hereford trait and I was hoping some Hereford breeders would share their experience? Does the cow longevity traits carry over or improve with the Angus cross?

Research shows crossbred cows are more productive for more years than straightbred cows. So, yes, adding Angus (or any other breed) should increase the productive years of your cows.

Theoretically they do. But, it depends on the other side of the specific equation also. If you bred a chimp with a human, and it worked, he or she might could climb trees or might could swim or do both speaking Chinese if taught.
