Hes the replacement for my lil guy that committed suicide a while back. R.I.P. Quite the upgrade but I do miss lil Vindicator...

I think hes doing good. Sometimes an outside view is helpful. Hes only got 12 mamas to cover. Pretty ok grass. Hay avaible too.

Finally got a couple pics while he was grazing. Hes definitely put on some pounds since I got him. I'll just have to wait til BSE time to see how much. He doesnt have to work too hard here. Only 14 to 16 cows.
Any thoughts on him? Calves should be coming b4 long too. Tired of waiting already...

So I've been looking at my notes.
Ol Big Bertha should be the first to calve to this bull.
If I actually caught em, she was due September 12th.
She definitely appears close. Springing heavy.

Not ours. They would've been too close to the high lines.

I really like the amount of white on her face.
Pretty big calf too. I dont have a way to weigh her. Sure am curious about that.

@MurraysMutts I have a birthweight tape. "Accuracy" +/- 7 lbs so clearly not something to use if you want an exact weight. I've also used a bathroom scale. Well, once. I was traumatized when the number on the scale shot dangerously close to a deuce, plus I have no business holding a calf that big.
