Where are you located? What's his breeding, he looks very much like the UK type? Please show us some of the other cattle with him in the pasture, I like that wide top sticking out behind him.

He hasn't got enough set to his hocks.

yes he is in the uk. he is 2 years old more or less to the day. i inherited 8 pedigre herefords when my father passed away suddenly. one of the 8 was a bull calf but had the same father as the heifers so could not bread. there are not many herefords in my area so i ended up swaping the calf for this bull. he is by no means a shower but i must start some where. 6 months ago i new nothing about herefords or cows but i've caught the bug and now wish to one day own a show bull. ( NOT THIS ONE )
