Here we go.

Help Support CattleToday:

Not huge numbers but the cows here have been waiting for the trucking for a week or more.

A "retired" guy might be able to use that to his advantage, maybe.

How so? I am a retired guy.
Yeah.
Kenny, the guy that works and never sleeps (it seems) just retired from his "full time" job.
Cows waiting to be hauled.
Kenny knows trucks and trailers and cows.
Kenny goes on multiple trips every week, day and night.
Kenny is a working guy.
Might pass a Buc-ees' and get a brisket snack there.
A real opportunity, I was thinking.

Makes me think of the Rawhide song:
Rollin' rollin' rollin'
Rollin' rollin' rollin'
Rollin' rollin' rollin'
Rollin' rollin' rollin'
Rawhide
Keep rollin', rollin', rollin'
Though the streams are swollen
Keep them dogies rollin', rawhide
Through rain and wind and weather
Hell bent for leather
Wishin' my gal was by my side
All the things I'm missin'
Good vittles, love and kissin'
Are waiting at the end of my ride
Move 'em on, head 'em up
Head 'em up, move 'em on
Move 'em on, head 'em up, rawhide
Cut 'em out, ride 'em in
Ride 'em in, cut 'em out
Cut 'em out, ride 'em in, rawhide
Keep movin', movin', movin'
Though they're disapprovin'
Keep them dogies movin', rawhide
Don't try to understand 'em
Just rope 'em, throw, and brand 'em
Soon we'll be livin' high and wide
My heart's calculatin'
My true love will be waitin'
Be waitin' at the end of my ride
Move 'em on, head 'em up
Head 'em up, move 'em on
Move 'em on, head 'em up, rawhide
Cut 'em out, ride 'em in
Ride 'em in, cut 'em out
Cut 'em out, ride 'em in, rawhide
Rollin' rollin' rollin'
Rollin' rollin' rollin'
Rollin' rollin' rollin'
Rollin' rollin' rollin'
Rawhide
Rawhide

he's referring to recently retired KT, the truck drivin stuff haulin man..
I knew he was talking about or to Kenny. I don't know about the sales Ken was referring to but here you would need to own a semi with a cattle trailer. A pickup pulling a gooseneck trailer wouldn't put a dent in the cows at the yard.

I can't get home long enough for another job. In Ohio now. Home late tonight, change pasture for cows, leave tomorrow fir Maine. Be back Thursday night/Friday morning. 3000 miles this week. Not bad for part time.
Oh and working a house auction and contents Saturday.

Good luck on the Maine trip. You need a truck with a sleeper on trips like that.

I don't think you retired, you just changed jobs

Never really knew all the lyrics to that song. Kind of like The Blues Brothers.
