I live in east Texas and have started a herd that is primarily Black Brangus. When I switch bulls, I would like to stay with black and shorten the ears a little. What is the best suggestion? (Black angus, maine anjou, black limousin, or something else?)

tommy, you will get different answers from different people... it all boils down to what you like..

i like the black bulls too. i chose black limousin to get muscle and length... other breeds might give me this too, but limousin is what i have.. 2 of em.. some of one of the bulls calves are just starting to be born, and they look good.

just got the second bull, it will be about the first of the year on him..

good luck
