My vote is for the rent a bull too.
As far as the scrotal circumference, I think 39 might be on the smaller side for a 3 year old. We havent retained any bulls that long to compare it to, and maybe it varies a bit by breed? Last year I took 3- 11 month old Angus to the college for BSE's. At that age they were 37, 39 & 41 on scrotal measurements. Thats all I have fto compare to, hope that helps.

39cm would be under average but fertility and libido make a world of difference. A 3 yr old with smaller nuts is different than a yearling who's still growing and trying to keep up with everything.

If you look at some bulls in the Angus breed they are 39 cm mature and they will add SC to their progeny. While others are 46cm mature and they are negative in the SC EPD.
