If it was weaned, they guy messed up big time, the calf should have been put on a bottle, I would say, stay away from people that miss manage calves like this as they have no business working with cattle and are horse traders, in the worst sence. Also the growth and development of this calf has been compromised, and it most likely will not develop into an animal worth keeping.
