If you are looking for a shrub to plant, Nelly R. Stevens would be great. It is impossible to kill them and they would be perfect for what you are wanting. They grow in a pyramid type shape and reach heights of 25 ft and 15 ft wide. That would accomplish eliminating trash and minimize road noise. :banana:

privet hedges will work well. Beware though once unleashed they can get out of control and spread.
