Composite or cross bred bulls . . . interesting. I posted a line a while back re: retaining animals from my commercial side as seedstock. Folks seemed fairly in favor of retaining heifers, but there was pretty strong sentiment than there wasn't much of a call for that relative to bulls.
I've never sold anything but registered angus bulls, but had some pretty hot stuff come off the simi and limi cross cows on the commercial side and I've always been tempted but never done it. Retained heifers, never bulls.
Would someone buy such a bull?
