Hello everyone. I'm new to the cattle game. I'm a retired fire fighter from Memphis fire dept. After spending years of seeing the worst life has to offer, my wife and I decided it was time for a change. We bought 15 acres in N FL and bought 4 black angus heifers. Bred them to my neighbors registered black angus bull in 2018. Had 3 heifer calves and 1 bull calf. In 2020 we added a mini Jenny that was pregnant and a Jack donkey to the farm. We now have 3 super friendly donkeys that love our grand kids. Just found this forum so I am hoping to learn a lot more about breeding cows and just enjoying the peacefulness of it.
