I have 4 heifers that are 10-12 months old and weigh about 550-650lbs and I am considering keeping them. Do I need to get them out of the pasture with my bull and if so, how old do I put them back in?

I don't know what breed your heifers are but I had a Simm heifer get bred at 6 months (neighbor's bull came over for a visit). I would move them now if they are not already bred and put them back when you are ready. We usually breed our heifers to calve when they are 2 years old.

they need to be moved if they are not already bred. when they are 15 months old they will calve at two years old. angus heifers will come in early too.
