Heifers too fat?

I was wondering if you were to breed heifers, would it be okay to put bred heifers on wheat pasture from December, pull them off in March, put them on grass and wait until they calve in May. The reason I ask is because I wonder if this would make them too fat (the wheat pasture) and cause calving problems. Thanks

As long as they don't get a BCS over 6 you should be OK.
