Got an 800 lb heifer with a stitch from a rectal prolapse - she was gonna go to the salebarn with another couple heifers. What's protocol? Remove the stitch and sell, sell with stitch in, sell but send to kill pen, don't sell.

Keep her until big enough to go to the kill pen with a profit. That weight is a little small in my book.

They will kill you with that stich even for the kill pen. Any excuse to drop the price, hold her until you can take it out and not have her prolapse again then sell her for the kill pen.
