heifer trying to abort?

short bred heifer 20 months old acting funny laying down alot staying by herself, drinking but not hardly grazing at all. No fever and no other signs of sickness has free choice mineral. Seems depressed. Could she be trying to lose the calf?

Maybe something else going on. An abortion can occur with little if any other signs or behavior, expecially if cow is in first trimester. May be some mucus hanging out, or ? Check around her area and see if you see any fresh discharge materials.
