Have a heifer that is scheduled for processing tomorrow and noticed today she appears to be in heat.
Anyone know if this will affect the taste/eating quality of the meat?
Don't recall having this situation before but I'm sure there are thousands processed while in heat. Unless spayed or fed MGA I would guess about 2-3 per 21 head would be in heat on any given day.
