Heavy Bred Prices

Top shelf, young to middle aged, black and BWF heavy breds are down to the $1,850 neighborhood here in South Alabama. Should I pull the trigger and buy $30K worth? Or wait? What do y'all think the prices are going to do in next 30-60 days? The only thing the price hasn't fell on is young, tiger striped heavy breds, I watched 50 or so sell for $3,300 each this week. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Dont know what the prices are gonna do but i think im fixin to buy some. They are bringing about the same here.

Bred price trend here tends to trail the calf price by about 60 days.

My guess is you can buy 16 head now or wait just a little while and this drop will get you 17 for the same money.

Your 30k is still going to be worth 30k in a month, but you might get more for it. I would wait a couple weeks.
But your on the track, differently a smart buyers market.

down to 1200 - 1600 here for 7-9.

cow with calf still at 2600 - 3400 though.
