Heat detection

I have used paint and some stick on markers. What if any are the favorites among us for heat detection in your AI program. yes i try to use the good old eyeball but years pass and so is my sight.

Since I breed in Jan-Feb, and it is usually wet during this time of year, good ole southern mud - on the side of the cow - usually is my best indicator.

That works here too. But I prefer the estrus alert patches. Lot like KaMar's but won't break when rubbed on a tree.

Red for 1st heat and AI ing. Pink after that for the bull. Serviced more than that they move on...
