Question for the group. I have a cow that had twins unassisted on Black Friday. Both calves came out head first and both placentas were out. She dropped both calves in 15 minutes. Amazing I know. I weaned the calves after 90 days to help get her bred back. She's had the calves off of her for 7 weeks but doesn't appear to have come back into heat yet. Her condition is good and I am supplementing her with grain as well. Anybody have any experience with this? How long could it take? I figured it would take her a little longer but we're going on 150 days after calving.

Stress of weaning likely possibly if giving birth to 2 could have made her cystic. A shot of cystorelin or estrumate will fix that easy enough just a 2cc dose

Mine bred back normal. The twin daughters calved about every 10 months for most of their lives right up until I sold them. Neither daughter ever twinned.
