I guess what i heard was kinda true I seen this on another forum.

This year we will turn in show weights. Classify as you stage before your class. This should be great. Weight handling before show should take on a new twist. Also every breed champion will get a $10,000 scholarship, above the sale price.

They've been doing the scholarship in the heifers for a while.

I don't know about how the weigh thing will work -- sounds like it could get a little western before it's all over.

Look at SA website today and they don't even have info up yet. Texas Ag teachers met this week, so you might contact one of them since they usually get an update during the conference.
