Healthy herd

My problem is more keeping my cow/calf herd healthy. My neighbor runs unhealthy steers brought into the state in bad health and they go downhill from there. Other than making sure my heifers are vaccinated for Bangs and giving a Lepto shot twice a year, what other precautions (or vaccinations) would be recommended to keep mine in good shape? More annual or bi-annual shots? Thanks for the response.

IBR, BVD, PI3 at a minimum. Check with a good local cow doc to see what he/she/it(CA) recommends for your area and your situation
