Health Care 2021

Help Support CattleToday:

One last thing, if you are not satisfied with the coordination of your care, speak up. When different doctors are prescribing different drugs, bad things can happen if it is not being overseen. Also, use only one pharmacist! Your pharmacist can keep tabs on what you are taking and question combinations of drugs you are taking and the dose (now they have computer programs that do that, as long as you are using the same pharmacist).
Had my appointment with the Cardiologist today. He said he couldn't find anything from the blood test panel that should have had them to come to the conclusion that I had severe renal failure. And he wanted every test or anything else that the doctor had done. Told me to stay on the Valsarten at the same dose he had me on to begin with.

Called the Doctors clinic to have everything sent to the Cardiologist and they can't produce the test results that indicated I had severe renal failure !!!

There was 3 rounds of blood test that was SUPPOSED to have been done but they can only come up with the ONE panel of test results that they told me my kidney functions were back to normal.

I think there is a good reason why they can only come up with one set of test results. That is because some body dropped the ball and only sent off blood to the lab for testing only once.

A Friend of mine's wife is a nurse at that clinic. Told her about my experience with that doctor. She said that the hospital administration told the doctor that I saw. That she only should spend 7 minutes with people coming in for office visits and should spend more time with covid patients.

Supposedly this doctor told thoes administrators that their was no way she could properly diagnose and recommend treatment by spending only 7 minutes to evaluate a patient.

And the doctor is leaving that clinic to work for the VA.

What you had done sounds like those test offer when they send out a pink card in the mail advertising all they can test for costing $100 or $150. They usually have a mobile van they travel to various areas, I think to get business from folks who otherwise would get a checkup. They don't have a reputation of being accurate.

The one panel of test results came from a lab in Kansas according to the address on them. They. looked like they had been professionally done.

It appears the clinic failed to send the samples to the lab to have tested the first two times. Why is the mystery.

And the one that supposedly indicated i had severe renal failure is missing or was never sent to the lab.

Whatever happened the clinic can not produce it or find it.

I don't know where you live, but if you're in a climate that has been HOT lately and you work outside and perspire heavily you can get a couple of reading that are unusual and indicate a problem that may not be. That is one benefit of a specialist, knowing the idiosyncrasies of the disease.
Is it possible working in a HOT climate that basically everything that could possibly indicate renal failure in a Basic Metabolic Panel to indicate a problem that might not be ?

I finally found the test results from the fist blood test and the panel states sever renal failure.

When i finally was told about thoes results. Which was almost 2 weeks after the doctor had got them back. They drew blood that day they told me about the results. A week later the doctor sent me a letter in the mail and said my kidney functions were back to normal and I could stay on the Valsarten at 1/2 the dos.

When i first went over the first test results the Doctor said she might send me to a nephrologist at that time and also wanted to have an ultrasound on my kidneys done. Which she did and the radiologist said everything looked ok.

I don't understand how one set of blood test can show that everything on the panel indicates I have severe renal failure. And a second blood shows everything is picture perfect ?
