Had my appointment with the Cardiologist today. He said he couldn't find anything from the blood test panel that should have had them to come to the conclusion that I had severe renal failure. And he wanted every test or anything else that the doctor had done. Told me to stay on the Valsarten at the same dose he had me on to begin with. One last thing, if you are not satisfied with the coordination of your care, speak up. When different doctors are prescribing different drugs, bad things can happen if it is not being overseen. Also, use only one pharmacist! Your pharmacist can keep tabs on what you are taking and question combinations of drugs you are taking and the dose (now they have computer programs that do that, as long as you are using the same pharmacist).
Is it possible working in a HOT climate that basically everything that could possibly indicate renal failure in a Basic Metabolic Panel to indicate a problem that might not be ?I don't know where you live, but if you're in a climate that has been HOT lately and you work outside and perspire heavily you can get a couple of reading that are unusual and indicate a problem that may not be. That is one benefit of a specialist, knowing the idiosyncrasies of the disease.
