Heading to new pasture

Hello everyone,

I am getting ready to release my Herefords into a new pasture. This will be a new pasture for them but it is really an old hay field. The hay field consists of 50 percent grasses and 50 percent alfalfa/clover (I am sure some weeds too). I am located in central Michigan. I have about 12 to 15 inches of growth. Besides bloat anything else I should be concerned with.

Maybe grass tetany if the stuff is still growing rapidly

you really need them on HIMAG minerals or bloat blocks 2 or 3wks before you turn them out on that pasture.
