you need to grease your baler everytime you bale hay.you also need a heat gun to check for hot bearings.we blew out roller bearing the other day.but we had baled over 2000 bales in 4yrs.baled 1000 bales this tear when the bearing blew.
Depends on the size of the bearing, you can develope a feel for them if their sealed with the resistance of the grease gun handle..and not blow a seal...on regular bearing or bushings, I grease till it starts to flow out around it...
