well this guy just puts out 4 to 6 bales a pasture.an he has alot of waste because he dont use the hay rings.we use hay rings an have almost 40yrs an you wont see hay piles like that on our place ever.

Without rings or some sort of feeder the 3 day rule is in effect. First day dining room, second day bedroom, third day bathroom

dosnt anyone unrollem.thats what i did most of the winter,it seemed to save hay and every cow got to eat at the sametime. draw back is it takes time i only put out what they would clean up, once in the morning and again before dark. i use rings when theres not time to roll out. this also biulds the organic mater over a bigger area this should help save on fertilzer and hold moisture .

It holds two big round bales and helps avoid having to feed every day depending on how many head use it. Does not waste much and easily pulled to a different spot when I load it.
