Baled up about 10-12 acres of sudan X sorghum yesterday afternoon and got a whopping 152 bales!

Got about 40-50 more acres to go and hope it's even better!

Now the down part.

It's small square bales.

Mike - I said to myself "that ol' boy's been drankin" until I read the bottom. Are you baling that fancy stuff for horses? My cows ain't never ate nothing like that.

Ship it up here. You can get $5 a bale for horseweed.

Look at it this way guys.

I can bale all day long with two balls of twine!

I know the feeling.

Ever had a forage analysis done on that? We just got one back on some brown mid-rib sudex and the protein was 11.63 on a dm basis.

How long did it take to dry? What kind of mower did you cut it with?

Cut it with a JD Mo-Co a week from last Monday. Couldn't bale the remainder today. Will finish it tomorrow.

The leaves are so dry they are shattering but the stems are still slightly damp. 70 degree highs will do that to ya.

Scared to tedder. Might not be anything left to rake!
