Hawk vs. Squirrel.

Help Support CattleToday:

I wonder if that is a domesticated hawk used in falconry. The ground camera's could be set up in any desired location and use long distance lenses for the close ups. Or maybe they were just filming the squirrels and really lucked out.

Coolest thing I've watched live was a coyote teaching her pup to hunt. They kicked up a rabbit in 90% cut wheat field. She let the pup chase it for what seem like minutes but was probably seconds and then came in on a perfect angle of pursuit, on a dead sprint from about 35 yrds out and fully wrapped up on contact- something that most Dallas cowboy fans didn't know existed. Mama killed it, but that pup was so proud carrying the cotton tail back into the sticks.

My guess is there is only five seconds of actual hawk vs. squirrel filmed, the rest is just footage put together..... Clever editing.
